Fallen Soldier Battle Cross
These are the boys of Pointe du Hoc.
These are the men who took the cliffs.
These are the champions who helped free a continent.
These are the heroes who helped end a war.

Oh beautiful for heroes proved in Liberating Strife . . .

Honor our greatest generation and see where they offered their last full measure of devotion as we explore the paratrooper sectors, British and Canadian Sectors and American Sectors of the Battle of Normandy with our own private WW II expert, Sylvain Kast, who often leads tours for the National World War II Museum in New Orleans.

We will depart Atlanta on Thursday, May 28 on a non-stop Delta flight to Paris. Upon arriving in Paris on Friday morning we will board our coach and visit the Musee de’ Armee—the French Military Museum, and Napoleon’s Tomb. En route we will see the Arch de Triumph and Champs-Élysées, scene of the US military’s triumphant entry into Paris in 1945. From there we will travers the beautiful French countryside to Bayeux to see the cathedral and the 10th century Tapestry of Bayeux, depicting the Norman Conquest of William the Conqueror, before retiring to our accommodations at the Mecure Resort, Omaha Beach.

On Saturday, May 30 we will spend the day touring the Paratrooper sector of the Battle of Normandy which will include visits to St. Mer Eglise, the La Fiere Bridge, Timme’s Orchard, Drop Zone T, General Maxwell Taylor’s HQ and much more.

On Sunday, May 31, we will concentrate on Sword and Gold Beaches and the battle for Caen.

On Monday, June 1, we will pay homage to the Americans who fought at Pointe du Hoc, Utah Beach and Omaha Beach and will visit the American Cemetery and a German Cemetery as well. We will stop along the beach, climb inside German bunkers and visit the Airborne Museum as well.

On Tuesday, June 2, we will return to Paris for an extra day of sightseeing including a Seine River cruse, the Eiffel Tower, and a highlights tour of the Louvre.

On Wednesday, June 3, we will return to Atlanta.
