Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut and
Rhode Island.

It’s a lobster lover’s dream!

Only $3295 per person. Based on double occupancy.

Sunday, Sept. 20.
Fly from Atlanta to Boston, where you’ll be met by your deluxe motor coach and driven to
Salem, MA and explore the village that was the epicenter of the 1692 witch trials. Then head
over to Gloucester, MA to the Fishermen’s Memorial and pay your respect to “Those that go
out in their boats to sea,” many of whom never return, including the entire crew of the Andrea
Gail of the movie The Perfect Storm. Learn about the history of the area while enjoying fresh
New England lobster at the Gloucester House before heading to Portsmouth, NH to spend the
night.

Monday, Sept. 21
Today’s first stop will be the historic Portland Head Light, one of the most picturesque and most
photographed lighthouses on the Maine coast. After taking time to explore and take plenty of
pictures of our own we will head “down east” to Rockport, home of L.L. Bean, where we will
stop for an afternoon of shopping and a bite of lunch. Lobster rolls and whoopee pies are the
order of the day! Then we will continue to our beautiful accommodations for the next two
nights, the Atlantic Oceanside Resort, where we will have a relaxing dinner on site.

Tuesday, Sept. 22
Today you can choose to sleep in a bit or wake up and explore the grounds of the resort and
watch the sun rise spectacularly out of the Atlantic Ocean. Our first activity of the day will be a
scenic harbor cruise where we will enjoy spectacular scenery and wildlife, which could include
harbor seals, puffins, bald eagles and more. We will have time to explore the shops of Bar
Harbor and find a bite to eat and then head to Acadia National Park to take in the spectacular
scenery from atop Cadillac Mountain and gaze out at the majestic waves of the Atlantic as the
rush ashore at Thunder Hole. We will cap off a truly spectacular day by enjoying an authentic
Bar Harbor Lobster Bake.

Wednesday, Sept. 23

More beautiful scenery awaits us today as we head west toward the beautiful White
Mountains. We will stop for lunch and site-seeing in the charming capitol city of Augusta, ME
before heading to our destination for the next two nights, the elegant Omni Resort at Bretton
Woods, where we will enjoy a delightful dinner in the formal dining room and the ambience of
the lobby and bar areas and the turn of the 20 th century front porch.

Thursday, Sept. 24
Today will be a great day. We will enjoy one of the best breakfast buffets in the history of food
before heading over to the White Mountain Cog Railway for our trip to the top of the Mount
Washington and the heralded weather observatory and a spectacular view of the Presidential
Range—or perhaps of the thickest fog you have ever seen. After that our destination is North
Conway for a wicked good lunch at the Sea Dog Brew Pup. We will end our day with a drive
along the spectacular Kancamagus Highway, one of the most scenic routes in America, before
returning to the Omni for the evening.

Friday, Sept. 25
After another great breakfast we head to Vermont, for a look at the state house in our nation’s
least inhabited capitol city, then enjoy a whimsical stop at Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks for
some firsthand Vermont humor and some of the best maple products anywhere. Then we head
to the Trapp Family Lodge for a scrumptious dinner and an up-close and personal tour and
history of Maria Von Trapp and her family, of Sound of Music fame. We’re still not done. Our
last stop of the day is a tour of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory—with plenty of samples. Then
it is on to Rutland, Vermont for our overnight stay.

Saturday, Sept. 26
This morning we will visit the Norman Rockwell Museum and Studio in Stockbridge, MA and see
hundreds of original works by “America’s Artist” as well as the actual studio where he created
so much of his work. Then we will stop at an actual Southern barbecue place for lunch—in
Windsor, CT, of all places—before heading to Mystic, CT for our overnight stay. The afternoon
and evening are free to rest, relax, explore—or watch college football on television. (Georgia
plays a cupcake—Louisiana Monroe)

Sunday, Sept. 27
It’s the last day of our trip, but a good day, nonetheless. The morning will be spent exploring
the living museum of Mystic Seaport, CT. There are all sorts of nautical attraction including
schooners, whalers and ships of every size and description, as well as gift shops aplenty. Lunch
is included and you will have one more chance to sample New England clam chowder or
perhaps a lobster roll, before boarding our bus and heading for the airport in Boston for our
flight home. We will have one more stop, at the Rhode Island State House, in Providence.

This is one of the best trips we do each year and even though it is many months away, it will full
up fast. Don’t be left out! Signup today!

Only $3250 per person based on double occupancy. All-inclusive Roundtrip air from Atlanta, deluxe motor coach transportation, deluxe accommodations, admissions, breakfast and dinner daily.
